Music for a Thursday - Haydn
He hung out with Mozart, was Beethoven's teacher, was a master of all forms of composition and wrote at least 104 symphonies in his 77 years. Franz Joseph Haydn was the shit. His Violin Concerto No. 1 was probably written in 1765 and was definitely written for violinist Luigi Tommasini. He wanted to give Tommasini something to show off. He delivered.
