"Next year should see a gain of #800 at least.  I wonder!  So far as money is concerned these are uncertain times.

The day has been wet with fishworms crawling around.  Not much like the midst of winter.  Have spent the day listening to radio, reading and doing odd jobs.  Took short walk with the dogs in the rain."
