"December so far has been warm wet weather.  We have a small flood with both rivers covering both roads.  Last week Ritz found a land turtle quite alive and the day before yesterday I observed a butterfly.  Turnips in the fields have not been frozen.  Saw seven wild ducks yesterday.  Ritz ran a rabbit under a trash pile tonight and I had to pull him out to get him to come with me."
