Music for Thanksgiving - Mozart

"The Bigwig, Grand Duke, has arrived.  Tomorrow they are going to give Alceste in Italian at Schönbrunn Castle; there will also be a free public ball.  I have been looking around for some popular Russian songs, so I could play variations on them.

My sonatas were published at last; I will send them to you at the next best opportunity."
