Help checklist

Five options for improving most bad situations (apply, rinse, repeat in many combinations):
Attitude - a powerful tool of improvement, this one item can take a mistake and turn it into an opportunity, a crisis can be softened and made better by attitude. And it's contagious. Bad begets bad but good sets off good. Keep calm and apply attitude.
Apologize - Whoever said you should never apologize because it makes you look weak was an idiot. A sincere apology creates bridges between you and others. It breaks down barriers and lets real problem solving begin.
Fix It - We don't spend enough time fixing things anymore. We are a throw-away, move-on people. Fixing a problem is important. Maintenance is essential. Learn to fix things for people - especially your screw-ups - and they will be your biggest fan.
Learn - Bad situations are opportunities to learn. Pay attention. Understand what went wrong. Spend time learning how to make sure it doesn't happen again. Make room for new bad situations instead of the same one over and over again.
Let It Go - You've apologized and fixed it, you understand what happened so it won't happen again. Now let it go. The journey is long, travel light.

"Whoever said you should never apologize because it makes you look weak was an idiot."
I think that was Jesus.
No, it was John Wayne's character Captain Nathan Brittles in "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon." I don't think it was meant to be taken seriously.
