Zite - Turn your Twitter stream into a personalized magazine.
Talking Tom - So simple and potentially annoying. You say (or sing) it and Tom repeats it. Of course, it's for the children. A fine sample:
Evernote - Flexible Getting-Things-Done kind of note system that synchronizes across computers and platforms.
Netflix - I love to hate this streaming movie app. Your best source of old favorites.
CryptoSolve - If I break my iPad by slamming it on a table in frustration this will be the app that precipitates such an event.

Fact Triangles - Don't forget all the educational apps. Can we shoot the inventor of lattice multiplication (even though there is an app for that too)?
