Great mixes

What were your greatest mixes?  Rob made "reading mixes". . . Mozart, Beethoven.  Tim created the two greatest George Jones mixes ever made.  I have kept the lists.  B-24 and K-13 were my jukebox mixes (B-24 is from the Vern Gosdin song "Set 'em Up Joe" and K-13 is from John Anderson's "Straight Tequila Night").  Apple allows for playlists - close but not quite the same.  As we drove home this evening, my wife said: "what's this playlist?  Weird s!*t?"  She does not appreciate.

    Some of mine were:

Campion Hall Rooftop Classics - Where I had a romantic evening on the roof of one of our oldest campus buildings at the University of San Francisco.

The Lost Years of the Beach Boys - I told the fella I made it for (Jet Boy I believe) to "listen without prejudice" taking a George Michael phrase.

Van Morrison Spirituals - He has done quite a few.

Of course we moved on to CD mixes - The Songs of Eclecticity Vol. I, II, III. and the Great Songs You've Never Heard Vol. I and II.

    Thanks for the memories. E.
