Memo to all email marketers

  • I notice from your outlook meeting request you would like to "circle back" regarding a previous communication regarding our business challenges.  I remind you that your previous communication was an unsolicited mass email and, although I do enjoy "streamlining processes" in order to gain "better access and control over our mission", I think it is a bit bold of you to place a meeting on my calendar especially since I didn't acknowledge your first email.
  • I appreciate the work you did to keep me "in the loop" with your latest efforts.  I do think referring to me as a "business partner" is a bit premature.
  • No thank you; although Russian women are nice I am sure, I am uninterested in meeting one at this time.
  • "Hello!" is certainly an enthusiastic greeting but I have no intention of clicking on the below link for more information.
  • Thanks.  I am sure you are a "premier provider of B2B, B2C and B2E mobile apps" but I'll not be "taking a few minutes" out of my day to understand what that means.  Referring to me as a VIP was certainly impressive and your "proof-of-concept" proposal is probably well done but no thanks right now.
  • Yes, I would like to become more influential.  It's just that I am skeptical of your ability to bring about that change.
  • "Insanely Great in Front of Any Audience"?  Sure.  In two hours?  Not so sure.
Thanks, but no thanks.
