Also, blogs (some, anyway) seem less inclined than the legacy media to "deny, distort, minimize, exaggerate, or poison the truth" or "falsify the process of reason," as the great Paul Johnson once put it. (Iowahawk's recent fisking of Paul Krugman is the latest example, Rathergate being the most famous.)

I agree. I think I know a blog's bias. Most don't pretend to be unbiased.
