"February has given us a very mild winter's month. I have seen the buds further advanced than at present but I do not remember a more moderate month.
This week I have been painting the bath room.
On the 18th of February I had the four remaining teeth pulled by Dr. Haight. It was a supreme moment of my life. To get into that chair required all the pluck I had. I went through it heroically but got quite sick. With the use of novacaine the pain is numbed but one can hear the sickening breaking loose. Well this is one part of me gone! But in about four weeks I'll get some new parts and then for a careful running time until they are run in."
