"A great day. I went to Dr. Haight and had him pull the bridgework from my lower jaw. He had put it in there at least fifteen years ago. The two teeth to which it was attached came out together with the bridge at one pull. It didn't hurt but I got fainty after he injected the numbing fluid. Recovered, he did his pulling stunt. I almost passed out of the picture but soon recovered again, came home, took the dogs for a walk and apparently am normal. Think! I have dreaded this ordeal, suffered terrible consequences (imaginary) a thousand times for two years. Now I have six above to be pulled in the next two weeks and then I'll be rid of my natural teeth. These teeth have done good service and I praise their good bites and mourn their loss, but the devil can have back his tooth ache which has probably changed the course of my life more than once.
Average winter weather and above this morn."
