Former Godfather's Pizza CEO, Herman Cain, has launched a presidential exploratory committee. News here, here and here. Dr. John sent me Cain's exchange with Bill Clinton from 1994 over mandatory employer health coverage.

Sounds like a good reason not to trust someone so quick on their feet. He was so quick on his feet, that he hoped you didn't notice he didn't see where he was going.

I remember an editorial on Clinton to the effect that he was too clever, too smooth, too slick. You get that sense about some people. It is usually a good warning sign.
