Election information

On Tuesday, CO suggests the following:

Governor of Ohio - Kasich and Taylor - Ohio has an opportunity to chart a new direction.  I recently read an article in Columbus Business First, quoting several economic sources (here - subscriber-only content) to the point that a governor can't really affect Ohio's jobs market or economy.  Specifically, Greg Valliere, who claims to be non-partisan, comments that he has sympathy for Governor Ted Strickland because the states "are affected by so many things out of their control. . .If Ohio rebounds, it will be driven by larger tides floating through the economy."  I disagree.  It is easy to claim that a governor has little influence.  Strickland has had an opportunity to improve Ohio and he has not performed.  Read Kasich's plan here.

Ohio Supreme Court  - O'Connor and Lanzinger - Read the Ohio Chamber of Commerce endorsement here.

Ohio Attorney General - Mike DeWine .

Ohio Secretary of State - Jon Husted.

Ohio Auditor - Dave Yost.  Columbus Dispatch endorsement here.

Ohio Treasurer - Josh Mandel .

U.S. Senate - Rob Portman deserves this seat.  I did get a chuckle out of this Lee Fisher ad, pointing out that Portman is (gasp) a University of Michigan alum.

Congress - Bob Gibbs .  Zach Space has been a huge disappointment.

Congress - Pat Tiberi.

31st Ohio Senate District - Tim Schaffer .

71st Ohio House District - Jay Hottinger.

Licking County Commissioner - Doug Smith.

County Auditor - Michael Smith.

Ohio 5th District Court of Appeals - Julie Edwards.

Judge of Court of Pleas - Information here.

Judge of the Court of Common Pleas (Domestic Division) - Craig Baldwin.

Issue 7 - Parks District - Yes.  Licking County Chamber of Commerce endorsement here.

Here is what my ballot will look likeFind yours.
