If you would have told me ten years ago that I would be defending Juan Williams, I would have laughed.
The news that Williams was fired for these comments about Muslims shocks even me. NPR should be ashamed of themselves.

Amen, brother. Remember BHO talking about his grandmother being "A typical white person" who would cross the street if they saw a black person? I heard some of the NPR company line on why...such BS.

In effect NPR is admitting that it has an agenda, and poor old Juan just doesn't fit in. Next week, they'll go back to denying it.
I'm starting to take an instant dislike to people who talk like NPR announcers. Unfair, I know, but after you've listened to them for about 30 years they get on your nerves. As a smart lady once put it, the women sound like they have more testosterone than the men.
