Kasich caught in truth

We've all heard politician's stories about meeting Mr. and Mrs. America on some campaign stop and hearing their "story".  Of late, it seems that many of those stories are found to be fictitious.

So it was nice to see that Republican Governor Candidate John Kasich's recent story about a couple he came across at a Bob Evans Restaurant was actually true.  Man bites dog here.

Thanks, NLT.

I saw that King show live. I didn't re-watch it here, but the couple did not appear to be "older" unless the observer is too damn young, which John Kasich isn't. Just a tidbit and not to quibble. The chameleon was not NOT telling truth. He was NOT lying!

I think you are quibbling.  And he never said "older" couple.  That was part of the L.A. Times story; not part of Kasich's comments.  You can actually see and hear Kasich's comments if you watch the video.

I have to give John King credit for bringing this to light.  Most MSM cheerleaders would have buried it.

I think you are looking for a quibble. (Jeez, I hate doing that.) I stand corrected.  I had no patience (stomach?) for the debate.  Did not watch it. Saw King. I believe he said "older". Then I followed you to the LA paper. My mistake. Not a serious quibble. Honestly, I meant no serious quibble. I've not been generally fond of him for years, although I have occasionally agreed with him.  Saw him at a dylan concert once back when he was single, and in Congress. Chameleonic...my 2 cents.

He'll do a better job than Strickland has.  I am confident of that.

Perhaps he will, but it will be hard to listen to him. But, that's the way with most of them after I listen carefully for awhile.
