I've been messing with Google's Latitude program over the last couple of days.  It is pretty impressive.  You sign up, plug in your cell phone number, click on a link sent to you and presto, Enemy of the State.  Your friends and family see where you are at all times from the safety of the home computer.  A colleague agreed to participate in the experiment and the results were quite accurate.  A couple of times, Latitude missed a location but never by much.

Next, I'll have my kids participate - I figure Friday and Saturday nights would be a great time for good ole' Dad to track their progress.  One additional item - Google has updated satellite pictures and I was cleaning my garage out during the last fly-over.  Go figure.
