      Michael -

I was thinking about the exchange this evening.  There is a courseness to it that I found disturbing.  And it is part of a bigger trend of politicians (on both sides of the aisle, to be fair) who seem to have forgotten who they work for.  I watched the video several times and Biden has always had that sort of attitude.  You captured it well.  A couple of years ago, I posted this now-famous exchange between Davy Crockett and a farmer.  It says it all.

You see here is the thing:

This is not Mother Teresa (a very humble person) saying this--so I am tired of him being given a pass.

This is an arrogant and pompous man who has enjoyed the illusion of power given to him by literal fools, I mean actual stupid and ignorant fools, who vote and re-vote this clown into office.

It is that arrogance that keeps coming out from his unprofessional, ungrateful and pompous mouth that simply grates on me.

We should all be ashamed that he has been elected to high office.

He is the personification of what I am teaching my children not to become.
