At dinner, I asked Henry if his class celebrated Earth Day today.  "We didn't celebrate it but we recognized it,"  he explained.

Libby piped up:  "We celebrated Earth Day in class today."

"How?"  I asked.

"We drew pictures," she answered.  "Of earth."

"You killed trees?"  I asked.  "On Earth Day?"
