Anti-incumbancy

Jim Geraghty looks at the anti-incumbancy polling and finds the source:
"A year on, with hope and change curdling faster than a bad Hollandaise sauce, the preferred defense of this administration's palace guard in the media is to insist ever more shrilly that the Smartest President of All Time is simply too intelligent for the American people.Obama 1.1: The omniscient leader you're too dumb to appreciate. If that's the message, his 'upper class' numbers will rise, and not in a good way."
Thanks, David.

When I was in the military we stood when a superior entered the room. It's called respect.
When I was young and new in business and had my first office, one day I was sitting at my desk with my feet up. Our President walked in and I jumped up. I was so embarrassed I now never put my feet up. I still stand when our president enters my office. It's called respect.
I wish President Obama had respect for our desk -- the Resolute desk as a matter of fact, and did not put his feet on it. And if he does, I wish he had the judgment to not approve a photo of himself with his feet on it. The fact that the photo was released indicates that he thinks it "looks good".
The question for those of us who think and dwell on such matters is: Why would he think that photo looks good?
