A good film
Andrew Klavin looks at the Hurt Locker and questions whether or not it represents another left-wing Hollywood stereotyping of soldiers. I watched the movie this weekend and agree with Klavin's assessment that the movie may attempt a bit of agit-prop but it certainly doesn't present the terrorists as anything other than the vermin that they are. I would love to hear from some of the fine men and women who experienced Iraq but I suspect that the movie would be well-received for its depiction of the Iraq war.
It was a good film. I might even purchase it.

I can't imagine Hollywood coming close to giving the due respect that the ordnance guys deserve for doing this job.
I hope they dedicated this movie to PFC. Aaron T. Nemelka who was on his way to do this job when the terrorist, Maj. Nadal Malik Hasan, killed him.
