"The morning of the 23rd gave us a minus zero temp of 22 at sub station. My own weather station read minus16 degrees. The weather station is at the water works about 300 feet from our house. It is just a small shelter box on posts. Since our dry winters were cold I guessed this wet season would bring a moderate winter. Weather predicting is a great gamble and has so many modifying circumstances that its prediction will always be a guess to a certain extent.
Temp this morning -14, -16, -18."

Too bad D.C isn't around to tell that to the global-warming/climate-change wizards.

I have a memory of his 95-year-old's laugh. It would work well in that situation.
