Music for a Sunday - Mozart

Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 22 (K. 482) was written in Vienna during 1785.

In February of 1785, composer Joseph Haydn told Mozart's father: "I say to you before God and as an honest man, your son is the greatest composer whom I know in person and by reputation: he has taste and, what is more, he has the most thorough knowledge of composition."  Haydn was right about the 29-year-old Mozart.  Haydn had a great knack for recognizing talent and he got to hang around both Mozart and Beethoven.

Daniel Barenboim plays the first part of the Piano Concerto No. 22 (I heard this early yesterday morning and whistled it all damn day):

Part two here.
