Confidence vs. Hubris

Confidence
1.    Let's go back over those projections to make sure they work.
2.    Preparation, practice, practice.
3.    I checked the packets and equipment.  Everything is ready.
4.    If possible, let's get everything set up a half an hour early.
5.    Let me show you how we can save you money.

Hubris
1.    We're good with those numbers.
2.    I can do that presentation in my sleep.
3.    Who has the materials?  Let's get some lunch.
4.    Look at that; just in time.  Am I good or what?
5.    We can save you $500,000.
6.    I had 'em eating out of my hand.
7.    They don't get it.
8.    I smell money.
9.    They're making a decision sometime next week.
10.  It was politics.  We didn't want that business anyway.
