Fox News (II) - and then some
The Treasury Department denies that it tried to exclude Fox News from its news pool interviews with "Pay Czar" Kenneth Feinberg. Of course, it denies in all sorts of interesting ways: The fact that Fox News actually had the interview means that they didn't try to block them??
I hear these kinds of denials from my kids: "I wasn't even in the kitchen this morning, Dad." "What's so special about that lamp?"
And then at least one other media outlet confirms Fox News' reporting of the incident.
As Peter Wehner reports at Commentary (with much less sarcasm than I can resist):
"One of the attractions of Obama during the election -- one of his attractions to me, who wrote favorably about him several times -- was his tone and countenance, his apparent interest in a serious engagement with issues, and his professed allergy to politics practiced by those who are bitter and brittle."
Thanks, Hot Air.
