"Here it is June, hot ziggety zig! Just what I want.
The spring has been cool but the last day or so is just right. May Saturday afternoons and Sundays are spent on the farm and river. How I revel in it. Fish are not biting but soon will be. I'm anticipating ripe melons out of the nice patch I planted up there. My alfalfa hay is worrying me just now as I have no barn to put it in. To stack it is to run the risk of mold. I'm thinking of selling it out of the field or putting a shed over the stack.
Marketing my products will test my ability as a farm manager. Quail are everywhere on this farm."
