Summer Reading List
Execupundit has posted his summer reading list here.
Also Nicholas Bate's recommendations here.
Update: I've added three to the list:
- If you've not read John Sanford's Prey series, they make a perfect summer set. (Update: The latest is out here.)
- I also have Meacham's book on my list.
- Scott Elledge's biography of E.B. White is in the cue.
- I plan on rereading F.A. Hayek's Road to Serfdom.
- Malcolm Boyd's Bach.
- Who is Mark Twain, the new collection of Mark Twain stories will be enjoyed.
- I've read these but recommend them because you will find Nicholas Bate's books so refreshing among business books. Do yourself a favor and order Beat the Recession, Instant MBA, and How to Sell and Market Your Way Out of a Recession.
Also Nicholas Bate's recommendations here.
Update: I've added three to the list:
- Think Smart: A Neuroscientist's Prescription for Improving Your Brain, by Richard Restak - It can't hurt.
- Right Time, Right Place: Coming of Age with William F. Buckley Jr. and the Conservative Movement, by Richard Brookhiser.
- The Weblog Handbook, by Rebecca Blood - discovered this while looking at lists.
