"Easter.  20 degrees today.  Strong chilling NW wind.  Bright continuous sunshine.  This morning as I got up the great white-golden moon was setting in the west while our lovely sun was flooding the east with life-giving rays.  Truly the beginning of life for another day.

The morning impressed the importance of the Easter festival day.

The car battery was low.  Car wouldn't start.  After taking a short walk in the bottoms, I chored about the house.

Ate dinner at Dotties and a ride with Mac to see the stock on his lower farm.  I don't think I would care for intensive stock farming unless I were elaborately equipped since there is much danger of disease and loss of animals.

Mary E. had here egg hunt here in the backyard and best of all her new 79-cent Easter dress from Me me."
