Negotiation 101 - What not to do

Imagine a tough, important negotiation that finally comes to a vote.  One of the main negotiators asks for a few moments before the final vote and gives this speech to both parties of the negotiations:



Then the vote begins and it becomes apparent that certain key members of the majority negotiating team are voting against the compromise for expediency purposes (they need to be able to say that they opposed the compromise).  How does the vote go?
