Autumn treats

As my favorite season rolls in, I offer some treats for the eyes and ears:

Autumn - George Winston - I've written a couple times on this collection for solo piano.  If you don't own it, buy it.  Trust me, you will love it.

Canyon Trilogy - R. Carlos Nakai - Screw the pan flute and new age flute crap, why not listen the real stuff?  Nakai is the man.  Beautiful stuff also available on iTunes.

Moonlight Sinatra and In The Wee Small Hours - Frank Sinatra - I always listen to these albums in the fall.  Not sure why but it works.  I believe that I was introduced to both of the these albums in the fall of my sophomore year of college (connection made).

Lady in White - I have no idea why this movie was never more popular.  A haunting story for you and your kids to watch (not too haunting).

Something Wicked This Way Comes - The "autumn people."  A delightful movie and book.

Dead Poets Society - Carpe Diem!

The Paper Chase - Autumn at law school - "Mr. Hart, here is a dime. . ."

Washington Irving - His writing seems made for autumn.
