Is it me or is the word "tactic" becoming overused and bastardized?  I've been noticing its use becoming more and more common in political talk.  The Speaker looks so uncomfortable here but she does have a planet to save:



"Free our oil"

"Diversionary tactic"

"Free our oil"

"They'll have to use their imagination on how they can get a vote."

Blah, blah, blah.
