I recently sat through a presentation given by representatives of a highly-respected national corporation.  The first ten minutes were spent setting up the projector and making the go-to-meeting connection work - all while we awkwardly fidgeted at our seats.  Connection made, the presenter said: "There."  He then started his presentation.

If they had read AND followed Nicholas Bate's consistently sound presentation advice, things would have turned out much better.
