Democrats and race
Some of the nastiest race-bating politics has come from the Democrats this year. I've written about Obama's use of race-bating, but John Phillips makes a great point about Hillary Clinton's angle:
"Imagine for a moment if Hillary were a finalist for the top job at Wal-Mart and told USA Today that she should get the job because she has more appeal to whites and, thus, would be able to get more white people to become Wal-Mart shoppers. Any doubt about her fate?"
I would add that she has been peddling the message that if Obama can't win in places like Ohio, Michigan and West Virgina during the primary, how is he supposed to win the presidency in the fall.
