I recently had breakfast with a couple of friends and one told me that each morning he tells his kids:  "Kick butt, take names and don't take any crap."  A great message to start the day.  He laughed and said that his daughter recently told him goodbye, using the same message.  A proud father.

I take my 11-year-old to school each morning and usually ask him: "Who makes today a great day."  He answers "I do."  Good boy.
