As I mentioned last weekend, I was unable to get comparative statistics on Newark crime as I have
before. I checked with the new police chief, who I have found to be an incredibly talented and direct individual. He got right back to me only to inform me that something happened with the data that was transmitted to the State of Ohio for 2006. It was not included in the FBI statistics. I was referred to the
Newark PD page, which has these stats that don't match the FBI stats. I will endeavor to persevere. Until them, please partake of these:
