The hardest working Congress
I'm not complaining that Congress should spend more time screwing this up; merely pointing out that this was going to be the hardest working Congress ever. Next year, no Friday sessons. The New York Times notes:
"Democrats conceded that the hectic pace had taken a toll, especially on lawmakers who must travel long distances home and who have small children. And members of Congress have not gotten a raise or cost-of-living increase this year."
Thanks, Drudge.
